In 1924 – as the automobile industry was just waking up – Ludwig and Otto Happich founded their first automotive component supply company in Wuppertal-Elberfeld. They included the patented Tenax® in their range.

Today, 7tenax is one of the leading interior supplier for commercial and special purpose vehicles, as well as for ship and boat building.
